  8. LCDaemon is a hard/software project to connect a character-based
  9. LCD display to your parallel port. A version for the Multifacecard
  10. 2 and 3's parallel ports is also included, as well as a
  11. version that emulates a LCD screen in an Amiga window.
  12. (The Amiga window version requires Kick3.0 for pen allocation)

  14. This is version 1.8. Minor modifications include increased robustness
  15. against extremely long text strings and 24-character LCD support.
